• Rumor: Old Republic Beta in Progress

    I'm usually not one for rumors. But this one is far too interesting to ignore.

    If anyone in the PlayerAlliance community ends up in any phase of the beta, contact me immediately. There will be a private forum section for beta testers to communicate in. This section will be hidden and password protected from all other users.

    BioWare has not confirmed the beta, but rather than a denial, Star Wars: The Old Republic community manager Sean Dahlberg wrote in this forum thread: "Thanks for the information and it's definitely interesting that people are posting about our Game Testing Program. We don't have anything official to say at this moment." He also said that members of the beta were only allowed to say that there is a beta, and that they are in it, if one were to be ongoing.

      edit: full link seems to show up if you view the thread manually from the forum - if you come right to the thread from the "what's new" button it wasn't *shrug*

      Well it is confirmed now. Beta is underway, which means I have about a year to get a suitable PC.
